Role Overview

The Growth & Acquisition Team Leader acts as the frontline driver of company’s marketing engine, responsible for maximizing awareness, generating registrations, and managing multi-channel acquisition campaigns. This role oversees the entire marketing spend and budget allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources while scaling company’s presence across both B2C (students/parents). The ideal candidate has proven expertise in digital marketing, mobile app growth, and multi-product campaign management, with the ability to balance organic, paid, and earned media strategies while leading a team toward defined KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Campaign Management

● Own and monitor all acquisition budgets across platforms.
● Allocate budgets effectively to minimize CAC and maximize ROI.
● Ensure positive LTV/CAC performance and commercial sustainability.
● Plan and execute multi-product, multi-channel campaigns (social media, search, display, app campaigns, email, influencer).
● Manage awareness-stage campaigns to drive registrations and funnel progression.
● Launch and optimize campaigns for each line of business and exam season.
● Scale high-performing campaigns and pause underperforming ones quickly.
● Deliver structured weekly and monthly performance reports.

Digital Marketing & Funnel Expertise

● Oversee end-to-end digital marketing, including paid, organic, and earned media.
● Manage and optimize company’s social media accounts (paid & organic) and ad accounts.
● Ensure consistent brand presence across social media, website, app store, and CRM channels.
● Implement and optimize marketing funnels from Install → Registration → Activation → Paid.
● Identify drop-off points and improve conversion rates across the user journey.
● Run structured A/B tests on creatives, audiences, landing pages, onboarding flows, and paywalls.
● Drive app marketing with a focus on installs, CPI optimization, engagement, and retention.
● Build and manage lifecycle automation (push, SMS, email) to improve activation and paid conversion.
● Ensure proper tracking setup across Adjust, Firebase, GA4, and media pixels.
● Maintain clean event mapping, UTM structure, and attribution accuracy.

Leadership & Team Management

● Lead and mentor the Growth & Acquisition team (social media, SEO, paid media, CRM).
● Coordinate with Creative, Performance, Product, Sales, and Community teams to align campaigns.
● Work with Engineering to implement tracking updates and SDK integrations.
● Provide project management oversight to ensure campaigns are executed on time and on budget.
● Build performance dashboards and eliminate manual reporting.
● Foster a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous optimization.
● Establish clear KPIs and weekly sprint-based performance reviews.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
● 3 – 8 years of experience in digital marketing, user acquisition, or growth roles, preferably in tech or startups.
● Strong track record managing paid media budgets and delivering ROI across multiple channels.
● Experience in mobile app marketing (installs, CPI, retention, LTV optimization).
● Deep understanding of marketing funnels, user journeys, and customer acquisition strategies.
● Proven ability to run multi-product, multi-channel campaigns simultaneously.
● Strong leadership and project management skills (team management experience is required).
