Senior HR Generalist – Riyadh

My client a Saudi holding company hiring a Senior HR Generalist in Riyadh. Reporting to HR Director, you will support and deliver core HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 3–5 years of experience who has strong generalist exposure and is ready to take increased ownership while continuing to grow in strategic HR capabilities. The Senior HR Generalist will partner closely with managers and leadership to ensure consistent, effective, and people-focused HR practices that support business objectives and a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, including coordination with hiring managers and external recruitment partners
  • Support workforce planning through headcount tracking and hiring forecasts
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience

2. Performance Management

  • Coordinate and administer performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, feedback processes)
  • Support managers with performance documentation and improvement plans
  • Track and report on performance outcomes

3. Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations matters
  • Handle routine employee relations cases and investigations, escalating complex matters when required
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, role changes, exits)

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning
  • Assist in delivering internal HR communication and culture-building activities
  • Partner with managers to reinforce company values and engagement practices

5. Learning & Development Support

  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives in collaboration with managers
  • Support leadership development and training programs
  • Manage relationships with external learning and development vendors

6. HR Administration, Data & Vendors

  • Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and dashboards
  • Support HR budgeting and cost tracking activities
  • Coordinate with third-party HR vendors (recruitment, L&D, HR tools)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Saudi national and Riyadh resident.
  • Hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, employee lifecycle processes, and local employment regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • HR certification or relevant qualification
